About the Scheme
The Annapurna Yojana is a major social welfare scheme launched by the Government of West Bengal, administered by the Department of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare. The primary objective of the program is to offer monthly financial support to women across the state, fostering empowerment and helping them achieve socio-economic independence. Under this scheme, eligible women receive a monthly cash transfer of ₹3,000. All payments are processed via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly into the beneficiary's Aadhaar-seeded bank account. To ensure a seamless transition, existing beneficiaries of the Lakshmir Bhandar scheme are systematically migrated to the Annapurna Yojana, subject to satisfying the scheme's requirements. 🚀 How to Apply
Step 1:Access the Portal
Visit the official online application portal of the Annapurna Yojana.
Step 2:Initiate Verification
Select your district from the dropdown list and enter your primary mobile number to complete verification.
Step 3:Enter Family Information
Fill in the Family Level Data Collection form, detailing information for the Head of the Family first, followed by the rest of the household members.
Step 4:Upload Documents & Submit
Upload scanned copies of required identification documents (Aadhaar, Voter Card, etc.) in JPG/JPEG/PDF/PNG format (size between 50KB to 200KB) and click the submit button. Save the generated Application ID.
