About the Scheme
Khadya Sathi is the state food security programme, delivering rice and wheat at subsidised rates or free of cost through ration shops to the large majority of households in West Bengal. Entitlement depends on the ration card category, and the digital ration card linked to Aadhaar is the operating document. 🚀 How to Apply
Step 1:Obtain a Digital Ration Card
Apply for a digital ration card online or at a Duare Sarkar camp if the household does not already hold one.
Step 2:Link Aadhaar
Link each family member’s Aadhaar to the ration card so biometric authentication works at the shop.
Step 3:Collect from the Ration Shop
Collect the monthly entitlement from the linked fair price shop using biometric authentication.
Step 4:Check Entitlement Online
Verify the card category and monthly entitlement on the Food & Supplies Department portal.
