About the Scheme
The Manabik pension scheme provides ₹1,000 per month to persons with disabilities living in West Bengal, assessed at a minimum degree of disability certified by a competent medical authority. It brought several earlier disability allowances under one scheme so that beneficiaries deal with a single application and a single payment. 🚀 How to Apply
Step 1:Obtain a Disability Certificate
Get the disability certificate or UDID card from the competent medical board.
Step 2:Apply on the Manabik Portal
Apply online on the Manabik portal or at a Duare Sarkar camp with the certificate.
Step 3:Verification
The application is verified at the block or municipal level, including the disability assessment.
Step 4:Pension Disbursal
After sanction the pension is credited monthly to the beneficiary bank account.
