About the Scheme
The state old age pension under the Jai Bangla umbrella provides ā¹1,000 per month to residents of West Bengal aged 60 years and above who are not covered by Taposili Bandhu or Jai Johar, which serve Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries respectively. š How to Apply
Step 1:Collect the Pension Form
Obtain the Jai Bangla pension form from the BDO, SDO or municipal office, or at a Duare Sarkar camp.
Step 2:Attach Age and Residence Proof
Attach age proof, residential proof, Aadhaar and the bank passbook copy.
Step 3:Submit and Verify
Submit at the designated office; the details are verified at block or municipal level.
Step 4:Pension Disbursal
After sanction the monthly pension is credited directly to the bank account.
