About the Scheme
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a central sector welfare scheme implemented by the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. The program is designed to provide annual income support to all eligible landholding farmer families across the country. Under this initiative, beneficiaries receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 per year, distributed in three equal installments of ₹2,000 every four months. These funds are credited directly into the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of eligible farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode, subject to certain exclusion criteria for higher economic status categories. 🔗 Official Resources: • Official Website: https://pmkisan.gov.in • Scheme Guidelines (PDF): https://pmkisan.gov.in/Documents/RevisedPM-KISANOperationalGuidelines(English).pdf • e-KYC Operational Guide (PDF): https://pmkisan.gov.in/Documents/Note-on-Modes-and-processes-of-ekyc-13th-Nov-English.pdf • New Farmer Registration Portal: https://pmkisan.gov.in/RegistrationFormupdated.aspx • Track Registration Status: https://www.pmkisan.gov.in/KnowYour_Registration.aspx
