About the Scheme
Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana provides collateral-free institutional credit to micro and small non-farm enterprises through banks, NBFCs and microfinance institutions. Loans are graded as Shishu for the smallest requirements, Kishore for growing units, and Tarun for established ones, with a higher Tarun tier for borrowers who have repaid an earlier Tarun loan. š How to Apply
Step 1:Prepare a Project Report
Write down the business activity, the amount needed and how it will be used and repaid.
Step 2:Approach a Lender
Apply at any bank, NBFC or microfinance institution, or online through the Jan Samarth portal.
Step 3:Submit KYC and Business Proof
Provide identity and address proof along with any existing proof of the business activity.
Step 4:Receive the Mudra Card
On sanction, the working capital portion may be issued as a RuPay Mudra card for drawing funds as needed.
