About the Scheme
Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana is a low-cost accident insurance scheme. For an annual premium of ₹20, auto-debited from the subscriber’s savings account, it covers ₹2 lakh for accidental death or total permanent disability and ₹1 lakh for partial permanent disability. 🚀 How to Apply
Step 1:Hold a Savings Account
A savings bank account is required, as the premium is debited from it automatically.
Step 2:Submit the Consent Form
Give the bank the signed consent-cum-declaration form, or enrol through net banking.
Step 3:Authorise Auto-Debit
Authorise the annual ₹20 auto-debit and keep the balance available before the debit date.
Step 4:Record the Nominee
Make sure the nominee details are recorded with the bank so a claim can be settled without dispute.
