About the Scheme
Taruner Swapna provides a one-time grant of ₹10,000 to students of Class XII in government, government-aided and government-sponsored schools and madrasahs in West Bengal, to enable the purchase of a tablet or smartphone for online learning. 🚀 How to Apply
Step 1:Confirm School Enrolment
The student must be enrolled in Class XII at a government, government-aided or government-sponsored school or madrasah.
Step 2:Submit Bank Details to the School
Provide the school with the student bank account number, IFSC code and Aadhaar for seeding on the Banglar Shiksha portal.
Step 3:School Uploads the Data
The school verifies and uploads the student record. The account must be in the student’s own name.
Step 4:Receive the Grant
The grant is credited directly to the student bank account once the district authority sanctions the list.
