About the Scheme
Utkarsh Bangla is the state skill development programme run by the Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development. It offers free short-term training across trades such as electrical work, tailoring, hospitality, healthcare, retail, automotive and IT, delivered through empanelled training partners. š How to Apply
Step 1:Choose a Trade and Centre
Browse the available trades and empanelled training centres on the PBSSD portal.
Step 2:Register as a Candidate
Register online or at the training centre with Aadhaar and the qualifying certificate for the trade.
Step 3:Complete the Training
Attend the short-term course; attendance requirements apply for assessment eligibility.
Step 4:Assessment and Certificate
Pass the assessment to receive certification, after which placement assistance is offered.
