About the Scheme
The state widow pension provides ā¹1,000 per month to widowed women resident in West Bengal who do not receive a regular pension from another government source. š How to Apply
Step 1:Collect the Application Form
Obtain the widow pension form from the block, sub-division or municipal office, or a Duare Sarkar camp.
Step 2:Attach the Death Certificate
Attach the registered death certificate of the husband along with residence proof and bank details.
Step 3:Submit and Verify
Submit the form at the designated office; details are verified at block or municipal level.
Step 4:Pension Disbursal
After sanction the monthly pension is credited directly to the bank account.
